Antonia Katalin Entorf
PhD Student in Economics
Currently, I am a PhD student in Economics at the University of Bonn (Bonn Graduate School of Economics) and ECONtribute. My supervisors are Thomas Dohmen and Amelie Schiprowski. As a visiting PhD student, I spent three months at the Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI) at the University of Copenhagen. I plan to complete my PhD by summer 2027.
My research interests focus on health economics, labor economics, and the economics of education. Work and education shape a large part of individuals’ lives. Therefore, I am strongly motivated to understand which environments help people stay healthy, develop their skills, and be productive. Large-scale administrative and survey data allow me to study how occupational and learning environments influence individuals’ health, skills, and ultimately their labor market outcomes. With my work, I want to contribute to a better understanding of how work and education can benefit both individuals and society.
